Healing powers

Emma’s POV:

Beta Liam’s deteriorating health scared me a lot; it was as if he was dying in front of me when he started his episodes. The healer was still yet to be found; if only I could heal him, then I wouldn't have to cry all through. The stress that came with staying beside Beta Liam was telling on me and my child. I took my medication religiously, but it wasn't enough, and my whole body needed rest.

Scott was out in the dead of night, and he said he wasn't going to come back until he found the healer by himself since the people he asked to do the job didn't come back with good reports.

I was itching to be beside Beta Liam, but the healer said no one should enter until the whole candle was burned out.

I peered through the window; he was lying down calmly, but he was in bad shape. His whole skin looked like crude oil was running through his veins. It has spread throughout his whole body except for his face. According to the healer, he could die anytime soon; it was the candlelights
