Chapter 50: Slow and Sensual
I am sitting on the large ledge of my window seat, staring out at the evening sky. I just finished packing for our trip to Mexico where we are staying at an all-inclusive resort and am letting my mind wonder. We leave tomorrow morning and will be gone for a week. I am looking forward to it but am also troubled. Over these last 2 weeks I have woke up screaming 3 more times with horrific injuries to my body. I have witnessed and felt that man be tortured over and over, and it kills me that I have no idea how to save him. I have no clue where he is even being held. Each time he is tortured, I have felt a drain on my energy prior to it so when I feel it, I am terrified to fall asleep.
