18. The End of An Alpha.
Crystal was hit over the head and woke up with Alex next to her. She was in her old room and she panicked as she looked over everything. She saw the woman who was supposed to be her mother in the corner.
"How could you let him?"

Since the treaty of the packs was signed, it was agreed that once a year, the packs would come together for one grand ball to honor the treaty. There was an old castle up in the mountains that was dedicated for the event. The old couple who lived there were more than willing and happy to host such an event.
