Crystal woke up with an awful feeling that something was terribly wrong. She shot up and began walking around the house but saw no sign of Killian. She saw the office door shut and threw open the doors. She was shocked to find Alex and Aaron in there.
"Where is your father?"
"He left with Fredrick about six hours ago."
"What?"
Alex immediately came over to her and sat her down on the sofa. He gave her a bottle of water and explained everything Killian had said. She teared up as he said Killian left him as acting alpha. She hugged him and walked out and tried to call Killian. To her surprise, he answered her.
"Hello?"
"Hi."
"I'm sorry I left like I did. I just didn't want there to be problems again."
"It's okay. I know how you are. Is everything okay?"
"Yes, so far. I love you, baby girl."
"I love you."
"I got to go, but I will try and call later, okay."
"Okay. Be safe, babe."

Missy Edwards was born in the Emerald Pack. Her mother died giving birth to her so her father blamed her for taking his mate away. She was raised by omegas that lived next to her. Her father never cared for her and didn't care if something happened. She pleaded to the alpha and the luna to help, but they said as unfortunate as her situation was, they could do nothing. She lived in hell when she turned fourteen and her father started looking at her differently. He came home drunk one night and said she looked like her mother and started putting his hands on her. She punched him and ran away that night. She ran into the forest and kept running, hoping he was not chasing her and she tripped over a limb. She screamed when a hand touched her shoulder but she turned and saw a woman."Are you okay? I saw you trip.""I'm running away.""Why is that?""My father, he... he.""It's okay. You don't have to say it.""Thank you.""I'm Samantha."
Destiny woke up in her bed. It had been a year since she had the talk with Missy and everything had been smooth sailing after she was accepted into the pack. Today was a stressful day for her, though. Last night, she found out her father was going to be coming and she didn't want to see him. She was afraid to face him after what happened. It had been almost four years since she saw him last. Destiny offered to take her to Sea Cave Pack for the day and let her relax on the beach while she was with Kellie."No one will mess with you. You will be there with me and I'm their future Luna.""Are you sure? I don't want to impose.""It's fine really."Missy nodded and went to tell Alex. She found him sitting in the game room, ps4 controller in hand, playing call of duty. He said through his headphones to hold on and took them off and paused his game when he saw her."Hey, Missy. What's wrong?""Oh, nothing. You didn't have to pause your game."
Crystal and Killian went back to Blood Moon and the argument went non-stop. Poor Alex just sat there listening to the screams. Missy and Destiny stayed in Sea Cave and he was about to leave and go join them.In the office, their screams could be heard through the pack; out loud, and through the mind bond. Crystal was hurt and too stubborn and Killian was not backing down. Crystal had woken up and saw her phone lit up. She saw it was a message from a girl that she thought she would never speak to again. She sent her screenshots and all these other things that made Killian out to be a cheater. She read it and tried to wake Killian but as time went by, it festered. After everything that happened with Sam, Amanda was getting to her. She didn't want to fight over this, but when he shrugged it off and admitted to talking to her, she couldn't control herself. He insisted he would never touch her again and that she meant nothing to him and she had no reason to worry. She
Crystal and Killian sat in the garden and ate lunch. They were lost in each other at this moment and everyone wondered what happened in that room four weeks ago. They seemed happier than ever and like nothing was wrong. Everyone watched cautiously as they continued going day by day.Alex and Destiny assured everyone that they were acting like nothing was wrong. Something was said in that room and it was like it literally never happened. No one knew what to do but they knew if they weren't going to fight or act like something happened then neither would they. Month after month, things just seem to get better between them. Like their love was strong and true and nothing could ever break them apart. They were a united team and it was as if they had a new understanding of everything. They never seemed happier. But that was just it, that is what Crystal wanted. She wanted everything to seem perfect. Behind closed doors, they were the same or worse. She put on a happy f
Killian woke up the next morning determined to make everything up to her. He knew the pain he caused her and if he didn't make it up, he was afraid he wouldn't be able to live with himself. He sat in his office for hours, talking to other alphas and just other married men in general. He knew he would have to prove that he was sorry and that he meant it.Finally, he had the perfect idea. He called his son in and he sat in front of his father, skeptical of what he wanted."Yes, sir?""I want to do something for your mother. Something she wouldn't expect me to do.""Okay, like what?""A vow renewal?""A what?""It's like getting married again. The whole nine yards.""Okay, but how are you wanting to do it?""At the packs' hall up on the mountain and invite all the packs. I want it to be a surprise until the last day when she gets her dress. I'll talk to your sister about it.""Okay good, because I would be terr
Destiny stood outside Crystal's office door. She knocked and her mother answered."Destiny? Everything okay?"Can we go out to lunch, please?""Of course. Let me put stuff away.""Okay."She waited for her mother in the hall and a few minutes later Crystal came out. She grabbed her by the arm and walked to town with her for lunch. When they get to town, Crystal asked her."Did he give the word?""Yes. Lunch and a fitting.""I think a fitting and then lunch.""Okay. Sounds good. What have been doing in your office?""Well, it's a vow renewal. I'm writing vows.""Oh okay. Dad thought something was wrong.""No. I'm keeping your secret.""Not a secret anymore.""Well, yes. Not anymore."They walked to the dress store so Crystal could get fitted for a wedding gown for a vow renewal that Killian had planned. They were in the store for four hours before they emerged and Destiny was so e
Crystal walked into the castle and the entry hallway looked absolutely magical. Lights were hanging from the ceiling that looked like icicles dropping down. Along the walls, there were lights of purple, white, blue, green, gold, and red. Inside the ballroom, it was decorated for the ceremony. There was an archway decorated with calla lilies of purple, white, and black. Chairs were set up with purple and black ribbons tieing the fabric to the back. The aisle had a long piece of black fabric with purple and white flowers painted on it. In the kitchens, she saw a cake with four tiers that were decorated with a frosting of purple and black against the white frosting of the red velvet cake. On top, there was a black and white wolf figure nuzzling each other. In the gardens, tables and chairs were set up everywhere and fairy lights decorated the entire lawn. Out front, the pack homes were decorated with lights and the entire thing looked like a scene from a movie or a dream. Killian had o
Crystal was sitting on the balcony and taking in the morning. Killian was still asleep and she could his soft snoring from across the room. She was in heaven and she was glad she decided to stay. She got up and walked over to the bed and climbed back in. Killian sensed her and rolled over and pulled her close to him. She snuggled up close to him and got lost in the feeling of his arms around hers. She wished the moment would never end and that it could always feel like this where she was happy and secure and felt like nothing could touch her again. She didn't know how much longer this would last before the next thing came up. She knew in two years, Destiny would be leaving for Sea Cave as their Luna and in four years, Alex and Missy would be taking over. There are so many things that went through her mind. The one thing she knew was that she loved this man more than anything in this world. He was her savior and her light in the dark.Killian was laying next to her, unaw
