Denial

Lily stared at me for what seemed like the millionth time in just twenty minutes. She corked her head to a side, before parting her lips to speak.

"I am just here to give you the latest news." She crossed her hands on her chest, and the scornful look was back on her face like it never left.

I didn't say anything, I just kept on staring at her, wishing she could just leave my room immediately. She started walking towards me. When she got to me, she walked past me and stood behind me, poking her head over my shoulder.

"After you barged into your room because you were angry, everyone decided that it was best for Tamara to stay here until further decisions are made."

When she said that, it felt like a stab in my heart. I turned around to face her, squeezing my face into a frown. "Wait, I don't understand. Tamara is still here?"

Without waiting for any answer, I dashed out of my room and started walking down the hallway, when lily stopped me...again.
