"What is it, dear? You look worried, are you okay?" My mother started touching my face, with her eyes scanning every part of my body. I literally left the house three days ago, and she was already checking my body like I was suffering.

"No, mother. I'm fine. I just have some questions to ask because I'm so curious." She stopped touching my face to look at me. When I saw that she was already calm, I dragged her to a seat, and sat opposite her.

I folded my hands in between my legs, and wet my dry lips before parting my lips to speak. "Mother, I think I want to know how my father died and how he died." Immediately the words left my lips, she stood up and walked a few feet away from me before turning her back to me.

I sighed, and stood up, but she stopped before I got to her. "Alison, you already know everything you need to know about your father's death, and I think that's enough. You don't have to know anything else about it. It isn't necessary."
