I was shocked to see Dimitri standing by the door, his eyes fixed on me. I stood like a caught thief, my heart was beating against my chest. What am I going to say to him? How will I explain things to him now?

But then I had to compose myself and act like the thief I ain't. I won't call this stealing, I was actually taking what belongs to me. He had my bracelet, and I can't let him have it for long. I needed it back.
