Till I travelled down to the borders of my pack, I strongly believed Logan was mistaken. It was the most bizarre news I’ve heard and I needed to see for myself.

Logan was already waiting at the borders with a few of my men, including Tyrone. They showed their respect as soon as they saw me but I pushed past them, not wanting to waste another second. Logan followed closely behind me as I trudged forward, going past the fog that protects my pack and stepping onto the other side of it.

The body laid there on the ground and the familiar wrinkled face of Alpha Tauren was a bluish-purple—undoubtedly a sign of death—like his arms and legs that were exposed. He was dressed in an evening robe and his legs were bare so I knew he couldn’t have walked here.
