Chapter 30

Calla's POV

All I did was sleep, wake, eat, then repeat the same routine because there was nothing for me to do at that period. Everything seemed peaceful but awfully boring especially when Stephanie travelled out of town to see her parents.

These thoughts brought this heavy feeling of homesickness into me but I remembered that I wasn't welcomed back home. Every night, my heart will bleed and clench when I think of home.

I always wished I could turn back of the clock but it was only a mere wish that nobody would grant.

One afternoon, my peaceful sleep was disturbed by constant knocking on my room door. At first, I pretended not to hear it but it annoyingly increased that I had to groan and yell.

"Who the f*ck is it?" I hated being disturbed.

Without even seeking for my permission, the maids entered my room without alarm. They opened the windows to let the light in, then they stood in a line in front of my bed.

I looked at them in puzzlement wondering what all this was about.
