Fifty Five

Calla's POV

I woke up to the sound of a knock on my door. It took me a few seconds to register where I was and what was happening. As I got up from bed and walked towards the door, I could feel a sense of unease settling in the pit of my stomach. Who could be knocking at my door at this time of night?

When I opened the door, I saw Alpha Roland standing there, looking depressed and confused. His eyes were alert, and he seemed to be in a hurry. I could tell that something was wrong, but I didn't know what.

"Alpha Roland, what's wrong?" I asked, my voice laced with concern.

He looked at me, his expression pained. "I need your help, Calla," he said, his voice hasty. "I need you to talk to Lucian for me."

I could tell that he was desperate, but I wasn't sure I understood the situation. "Calm down, Alpha Roland," I said, trying to reassure him. "Let's go to the balcony and talk. You can tell me what happened."

We walked out to the balcony, and I could feel the cool night air on my skin. Alp
