No matter what Silas said to me or what his perspective was, my mind was already determined to do accounting to my will. I was going to take away the memory of that night from Stiles.

"Of what use can he be to me? He is only human and humans like him can't protect me from immortals," I said nevertheless deep down I knew that I could be wrong. Last time he proved his worth. If Stiles had not showed up at the gas factory the rival pack would have killed me.

"I think you underestimate humans. The strength of humans might not match the strength of immortals like us but they are often dominant. They are not as weak as you think they are," Silas said.

"How sure are you about that?" I asked.

"I can tell because I was once a human before I became a vampire. I have seen what they can do. They always manage to thrive. I know many of them can be careless and cruel but if you find a human who has stayed this long without revealing your identity then you must know that human must trul
