Ezra was surprised when he received an information that Magdalene came to pay him a visit. He had actually invited her over to the pack house, but he doubted that she would come, considering everything she put Nina through.

He asked that she should be brought to his office.

"You came." Ezra stated calmly, relaxing into his chair. "Have a seat." He offered, as she was still standing.

"I'd rather stand." She insisted. "Did you call me here to kill me?" She asked, not beating around the bush.

Ezra just chuckled. "No. I still need you. I want you to reverse what you did to Nina's wolf."

Magdalene stared at him quietly for a moment, her expression hard and stoic. "That is the only leverage I have against you. How can I be sure that you will not kill me the moment I leave here?"

"If you are so afraid of me killing you, why did you come?"

"I know you need me, so you will not kill me until you get what you want from me."
