Chapter 25

We cuddled in bed after such a sensual moment.

"I'll hold you forever," Marcel told me as he squeezed me into his arms.

I smiled and turned to kiss him.

"I have something I want to give you," he said and quickly jumped out of bed, naked.

"What is it?" I asked, sitting up and watching him quickly searching a drawer for something. He returned to me holding a piece of white silky clothing. He sat beside me and started to unwrap it revealing what was inside.

"This once belonged to my grandmother, then my mother," he said.

I stared at a beautiful gold necklace with a small, golden heart pendant. "It's beautiful," I told him.

Marcel threw aside the silky cloth and went behind me. My body became still.

"Before my mother died, she told me I should give this to that special she-wolf in my life and now I'm gladly doing that," he said to me as he placed the necklace around my neck.

My hand gently touched the shiny smooth pendant, and I felt so special.

I spun around and he kissed me.
