The Rondel Dagger

Masha walked into the chamber and was happy as usual, not to find Czar in. She had just returned from the kitchen where she had a good meal with Lyall. Masha found it amusing how Czar was hardly in the room whenever she was in. Had he always been like that, or he was just doing it on purpose to ignore her?

It was pretty late and getting a good night sleep was the only thing on her mind. However, she was about lying on the bed when the picture on the wall gripped her attention. 

She walked over and stood in front of it, staring with admiration. Then, she pulled it from the wall and held dearly in her hands. No doubt, the lady was extremely beautiful. Perhaps, her gorgeousness made Czar fall dangerously for her, to the extent he couldn't let go. How close were they to create such bond? 

Although, the lady was very beautiful, Masha still didn't found it funny that she had to share her matrimonial room with her pic
