Jason pov

Annabelle looks at me with a scrunch on her face. She doesn't waiver like she usually does but she still has a look on her face that shows that she has been caught out.

"What are you doing here? "she frowns as she gives me her worst facial expression .

My wolf is scratching to get out and take over . I'm finding it so hard to control myself as I get closer to Annabelle .

"I am the alpha of this pack , "I simply answer with nonchalance while I maintain eye contact with her brown captivating eyes.

She takes a step back with the frown still on her face.

"It looks like you sneaked up on me , "she replies with her jaw clenched and with her chest slightly puffed up.

I laugh internally when I realize how strong she wants to look In front on me . She might try to act tough but I can tell from her slight quiver on her soft plump lips that she is not as tough as she thinks she is . She's sweet and shy which makes me feel like protecting her and shielding her from anything
