Xander's POV...

Getting back from the fucking ritual of annulling the marriage of my mate to be; sometimes I wonder about the fundamental significance of some of these norms and frivolous shenanigans. They were sometimes lengthy and quite frankly unnecessary. Why can't I just annul a freaking marriage? Why do I have to go dip myself twenty times in the river?
