Aunt May
Merlin blinked slowly, her mind trying to catch up with what her ears just heard, she thought maybe Zeke was teasing her again but the look on his face told her otherwise.
"I....I couldn't......you don't know that it was me", she stammered.
"I was there Merlin", he stated simply.
Her hands were clutching at her shirt and he could see her trembling as her eyes darted nervously around the room. He could hear her breathing becoming shallow and erratic, her heart beating too fast.
"Merlin", he called, "Merlin, look at me"
She didn't seem to hear him so he called her name again but louder this time.
"Merlin! I said look at me!
Finally she looked at him and he spoke to her in a soft, firm voice, "You need to calm down and control it, don't let it control you. Do you understand?"
The blank look in her eyes faded as she focused on his face and voice and she nodded imperceptibly.

They were found a short time later, by a search party, led by Abel, after Zeke’s vehicle had been found abandoned by the side of the road.
