Connor recalled Melina's words as he waited for the large living room door to open, expecting someone. His eyes

shifted to the upper floor and a smirk appeared on his face as he wondered what Melina was doing.

Meanwhile, Melina smirked as she saw the beautiful man reading. He looked so handsome that she just wanted to watch him but she was in a hurry.

" Melina," she had him call. He had noticed her first.

" Good evening, Alpha. Erm....I... Luna Estelle is back and she asked me to give this to you. She's in the royal kitchen." Melina lied, placing the wine glass carefully on the man's table.

He only nodded and his eyes returned to the book he was reading but he looked up again when he saw Melina was still standing there.

" You can go, Melina." He told her but she angrily pushed her toe against the wall.
