CHAPTER 44: BY MY SIDE, AS MY LUNA.

MORNING, NEXT DAY.

Estelle turned and groaned slightly as her eyes slowly fluttered open. From the sunlight that was shining on her face, she could already guess she had woken up quite late today but she only sighed as she stood up. She was just about to get up from the bed but paused when the events of the previous evening and the words she had said slowly infiltrated back into her head and she hissed, biting her lips.

She had said she wanted to see him sleep but silly her had snored off even without waiting for a short while. Well, what could she do? His chest were as comfortable as ever and it was like a sleeping pill too. She wondered how he must have laughed at her after seeing her sleep before him.

She remembered laying on him as she slept but she still touched the other side of the bed if he might have shifted over there but it was cold. Cold like as if he was never even in the room and a bitter sigh escaped her lips again.
