Second chance

Livey and Newton waited until the next day for Maggie to return but there was no hope.

She had ghosted them,

“What do we do now that she isn’t coming back” she asked Newton, sad about it. She had expected Maggie to return back or maybe have a change of heart but she didn’t.

“I have tried everything I could just so that I could be happy with Ash, all my life I have been from one predicament to another and when I am finally close to the cause of it, I am dropped back to square one.

Was I also cursed to never be successful in lifting the curse, I need to know why my efforts are in vain” she cried.

It was disheartening for her to know that fate wasn’t on her side to be with her mate, she kept on fighting taking out her enemies and obstacles just so that she could succeed but all that would go to waste if Maggie doesn’t lift the curse.
