JENNY’S POVI woke up with a gasp and I looked around me. We were still in the cell and it was already dawn. The rest of them were still asleep and it didn’t look like they were planning on waking up anytime soon. Especially Rita. We had spent most of the night trying to come up with a plan on how to help Kira escape from the pack with Sam’s assistance but we still couldn’t come up with anything. CHAPTER ONE HUNDRED AND TENJENNY’S POVOur moment of joy was soon cut short when we began to hear footsteps coming toward the cell and we knew it was either Alpha Baron or one of his guards.I looked at Rita and the excitement that was in her eyes was gone. JENNY’S POV“Don’t you dare call me that,” I growled at Alpha Baron and all he did was laugh. Then he nodded at his guards that waited for his order and they marched into the cell to take me and Kira after throwing Rita into his hand. “Let go of me you vile monster” I heard Rita say to him as she continued to struggle so he would let her go but he didn’t and she bit him on the hand. I heard him snarl in pain before he flung her against the wall and I ran out of the cell, eluding the guards that tried to hold me back and I went to bend over her while the guards took Kira who was now sobbing and begging for love.“Hey, Rita. Are you okay? I hope you didn’t hit any vital spots?” I asked her to be sure that she was fine and she groaned before she nodded her head and sat up. She looked at me and smiled and I smiled back at her too. JENNY’S POVMy heart began to beat faster once Alpha Baron stood up and I quickly reached for the chain around my ankle. I tugged at it, struggled to cut it off my ankle but it wouldn’t budge no matter how hard I tried and I yelled out in frustration. Alpha Baron’s laughter followed suit and I looked up at him with blazing eyes. I tried to crawl to her and see if I could help make her feel better but Rita held me back and I looked at her. She looked like she was about to pass out too. I stared at her, wondering what she was about to do.“I’ll take care of it. You’re in pain so you should lie down” she said to me and I stared at her dress that had red stains too and I could tell that it was obviously her blood.“You’re hurt too. RITA’S POVMy mind was running so many miles at a time as it filled with a million thoughts. I couldn’t process any thought at a time, my head was beginning to get all jumbled with scary and depressing thoughts, and for the first time in many years, I found myself back in the place I was when I was still trying to understand my powers and how to use them. I was back in that dark place and it felt like I was losing my mind.
