Chapter Fifty Two

ALPHA DAMON’S POV

I couldn't sleep. I was restless in bed and I didn't even know why but I knew that Jenny was occupying most of my mind and maybe she was even the reason why it was so hard to keep my eyes closed.

I sat up in my bed and turned on the bed lamp beside me then I got down from the bed and made my way to the window. I watched the guards as they patrolled the palace grounds and I walked back to my bedside to check the time. It was only a few minutes to midnight and I couldn't help but feel uneasy. It was like my wolf was telling me something was wrong and I had to be alert throughout the night.

I always trusted my wolf’s instincts and if it was telling me to stay awake throughout the night and be also alert, then I was going to do just that because it had to be sending me such a signal for a reason. It had to have sensed that something was wrong and I needed to be awake to stop it from getting any worse than it was already.
