"Yes, but if we change the pattern of patrol every day, it could increase our chances," Athena argued to our Gamma, Will. I agreed with her and gave him a nod when he turned to look at me for my opinion. As Gamma, Will led the several different groups that made up our warriors and security. He was my boss. Yet, I knew that he could feel my power shift and the strength of my wolf as he continued to subconsciously look to me for my approval on each decision.

The Blood Moon Pack had yet to attack, and we had to be prepared for when they did. I was exhausted by the daily meetings to discuss tactics in the Command Center, but they were necessary. The two-story building overlooked the grounds, so we could keep an eye on our warriors and observe from afar.

The large bulletproof glass wall to my back illuminated the room, but let in only the smallest amount of warmth from the mid-day sun.
