"I don't mean to pry, but I have heard a couple people talk about you and an alleged situation with the Alpha. You don't have to tell me." I felt her adjust next to me until her legs were crossed, and she rested her elbows on her knees, her chin in her hands. My mouth opened to take it back, but it was too late.
