The kidnap

I awoke in a dark, dank cell, my head pounding. My body ached, and my mouth was dry. I struggled to remember what had happened, but my mind was a blur. I knew I had been in a fight, and I had lost. I had been captured, but by whom, and for what purpose? I tried to sit up, but my chains held me fast. A sliver of light peeked through a crack in the door, and I heard voices outside. One was deep and commanding, and the other was fearful and weak. "Is she awake?" the deep voice asked. "Yes, my lord," the other voice replied. "Let me see her," the deep voice demanded. The door creaked open, and a tall, imposing figure stepped into the room. I squinted, trying to make out his features, but my vision was still blurry. "Tela," he said, his voice cold and hard. "Welcome to your new home." I tried to speak, but my words were caught in my throat. He came closer, and I finally got a good look at him. He was a powerful man, with a muscular build and dark hair.
