Moon Beloved

A wave of pain hit her pounding head and she unknowingly let out a groan of pain. She clutched her head with one of her hand. She felt something warm on her other hand, surprisingly the pain in her head decreased until it was no longer there. It was strange and probably just a coincidence.

She could now open her eyes, she stared at Lucian who has worry written all over his face. One of his hand which was over hers was so soft, she pushed her body to a sitting position and he rushed to prop pillows behind her back to make her feel comfortable.

"Thank you" she mutters in a raspy voice.

"Are you okay? Do you feel pains anywhere? Why didn't you listen to me?".

The calm expression on his face didn't much in concealing the anger in his tone, she felt ashamed. First she had made his sister worry unnecessary and now she made him worry.
