Lucas looked at Cora with all seriousness and she felt the shocked expression on her face might give her away.

"What? Why? Why would you even say so, Lucas?" She asked, her voice changing tone and depicting her nervousness.

She cleared her throat and held on to her neck as Lucas watched her, unsure of what to think about her sudden change of attitude.

He figured she might be as shocked as he was when he first found out. Maybe she didn't know he was an imposter. Just like no one in the fortress, but he knows about it.

"He can fool everyone in the fortress, not me. I've known Alpha Creed all his life. I watched him grow from a little cub to a man. ," He creased his brows as if thinking about what he wanted to say.

"Cora, I think the witches might have tricked you," he said.

"Yes, Cora. They might have used something on that fake Creed over there to make sure he looks like the alpha."
