The look on Bryan's face made Lucas know it was something confidential.

So he just nodded and patted Bryan on the shoulder, nodding in the direction he wanted them to follow.

Bryan understood and began to walk with Lucas without saying a word. They walked until they got to Lucas's chamber, where he locked the door after them.

Then he turned to look at Bryan, who was staring at the floor.

"You want a drink, Bryan?" Lucas asked and started striding to the wine cabinet.

"Oh no, Gamma Lucas," he said nervously when Lucas was halfway through to the wine cabinet.

Lucas paused and turned to look at Bryan, who was still staring at the floor. He didn't know how to feel. Having a drink with the pack commander was way too much for him to take.

"All right, Bryan. Sit down," Lucas said and pointed to a wooden chair.

With a nod, Bryan walked hastily and occupied the seat while Lucas took the one next to him.

There was a brief silence between them while Bryan kept his brow creased.
