25. My rival
Zack went beck to her hospital room and found her sleeping soundly on her bed. He walked up to her and fixed the blanket that was almost falling off of her.
He kneeled down on the floor beside her bed and looked at her. He smiled, looking at her.
Zack used to sneak into her bedroom when she slept and then leave just before she woke up. He would secretly follow her around wherever she went, and he knew that his love for her was obsessive, but he never harmed her or got in her way. He just wanted to be around her all the time.
He suddenly remembered the werewolf telling him she was his mate. He frown a little and looked away. Before, he wasn’t worried because he knew she wouldn’t fall in love with someone so easily, but it was different now. Werewolves only mate with those who are their soulmates, so he would have to fight for her with someone who is meant to be with her.
