An Old Time Friend

“Alpha, you're a smart man, and I think it shouldn't be hard for you to guess what you see in front of you.”

Walt a moment, was this rogue in any way, trying to test my intelligence? I took a quick glance in his direction, and it seemed like he was patiently waiting for my answer.

According to the question, he just asked me. Why do I think he looks familiar? Exactly, why do I find him and his story familiar?

I remember an incident that occurred in my pack almost 15 years ago. It was about the kidnap of a Delta's son and his mate. To worsen it, I remember going to my father and asking for him to save a friend. I can't forget his name, “Daniel.”

The moment I said the name in my thoughts, I quickly took my gaze back to the rogue, wide-eyed.

“Wait a minute, don't tell me…you are Daniel?!” I asked, wide-eyed.

The name suddenly seemed to have taken the rogue surprised. This can't be.

“Answer me, are you Daniel?”

“So what if I am? Does that change anything?”
