*****Alpha Cain's POV****

I paced around the room as pack doctor Nancy examined Gina. I could tell that she had become weak since she had the vision for a long time.

“Tell me, doctor, will she be okay?”

Nancy took a deep breath.

“She's quite exhausted, but nothing out of the ordinary. All she needs is lots of rest and thereafter, I'm sure she will be as good as new.”

I heaved a deep sigh of relief. Good thing she will be okay soon.

“However, Alpha Cain, you don't look good. I could see exhaustion written in your eyes, and you seemed worried as well. I think you need to rest.”

“I will, but I want to be sure that my mate is out of danger.”

“She is out of danger. You should care for yourself now, you know. Furthermore, I could tell just how much you care for her. Indeed, she's your rightful mate.”

I tried to build a warm smile for Nancy.
