Aurora’s POV

“Did she really say doom was lurking around me?” I asked Alexis when we finally got home and he told me. I was trying so hard to connect my thoughts with something other than my own misery that the conversation felt like a light bulb had gone off above my head. Maybe this would finally lead to some answers. Or maybe it wouldn't. But hey, at least now I knew for sure that there was more going on here than just an old house that hadn't been lived in for decades.
