CHAPTER FORTY-TWO.

Tegan's heart had been beating uncontrollably ever since Baldwin told her about the rumors and the fact that Alpha Kai had summoned her father. She was greatly distressed. There were so many thoughts running through her mind. She was so scared of the outcome of the meeting between her father and Alpha Kai.

She was the secret daughter no one knew about.

Her father could not tell Alpha Kai that information. She couldn't do it either.

She stumbled into her bedroom and locked the door. She needed to talk to her father. She needed to hear what he had to say about the issue before she had a heart attack. She rushed over to her mirror stand and pulled out the drawer where she usually kept her secret cell phone. Once she took it out, she pressed the power button with shaky fingers and tapped her feet impatiently on the floor as she waited for the phone to turn on.
