Chapter Eighty
Kyra-
To be caught by Hunter’s mother was beyond mortifying. After Hunter left, I ran up to the room and took a shower, and changed quickly. At the rate things were going, I didn’t think he would ever claim me. Sighing, I went back downstairs and made my way to the kitchen. Now that I was here, I may as well go see Lucy.
I found her and Anna buzzing with excitement. When they saw me enter, they both pulled me in further and sat me down at the table.
“It is finally here!” Lucy exclaimed.
Her excitement was causing me to smile, I loved seeing her so happy.
“What is here?”
“The fundraiser ball for the orphanage. Oh, I have just been waiting for this day all year! Pretty gowns, music, and dancing!” Lucy said, spinning around the kitchen as if she were dancing with someone.

Kyra-Waking up to Hunter beside me, I turned over to look at him as he still slept. I wasn’t sure when he finally got back, I knew it was well past midnight thought.
