Dinner was awkward. And quiet. Lori tried hard to make conversation but the words of Gabriel's grandfather still hung heavily in her heart.
She was so relieved when he left, hastily taking off her heels and disappearing into the room.She took off her nice dress and wore some pajamas. She just wanted to crawl into bed and sleep. They arrived at the funeral location where Elliot’s funeral was holding. The cemetery where he was to be buried.
