I held my chest, trying to calm my beating heart. I'd been waiting at the dining table for half an hour when a shatter echoed from the other side of the mansion. Cade instructed me to stay put while he checked things out, only to return a few minutes later with an unreadable look on his face. I glared from my window, starring at Cade when I spotted him walking throught the backyard with that thing at his side, as both giggled and smiled like kids on a play date. I felt my Wolf purr at the sight of the Omega, but I shun him down. I hated when he admired that pathetic excuse of a Wolf. It reflected onto my feelings and made me gain a certain admiration for her, making me feel sick. Everyone acted so sweet around her, like she was some sort of miracle child. Pathetic. She was nothing more than an abomination who's life worth little to— "Jace." A slick, black reddish male walked into my room, ripped jeans and leather jacket contrasting his edgy look. "And here, we have the garden." I gasped as Cade brought me to the entrance of a beautiful hedge garden, the walls filled with all kinds of colorful plants and flowers. I never knew this place had a garden! A gorgeous one at that. I walked through the first alley, grazing my hand through the lush greenery. Roses, tulips, lavenders, marguerites and many more plants I couldn't identify. But they were still incredibly beautiful. I smiled, wonder floating in my mind. All these foreign plants and flowers, they had so many different shapes and colors! And each had it's unique scent, it was amazing! For an Omega who's lived in the woods all her life, this was a real jewel to see. A pang hit my chest while my thoughts drifted to my mother. She loved flowers... and she would've loved to see this garden.

"Don't move." The voice chilled the blood in my veins and I herd someone cock and charge their gun. Slowly, I turned my head and almost bumped my snout into the barrel of a loaded shotgun, it's holder gazing down at me with menacing eyes. A sinister smile lifted his lips. The man screamed as I leaped and ripped at his throat, ending his life within mere seconds.
