Chapter 52
Allie CarstensA little bonding time between the future luna and her gamma, and she gets some of her questions answered. Obviously there is still more that needs to be addressed, but they don't want to overwhelm Haven with information overload and are letting her ask the questions as she thinks of them instead of info dumping on her. I also only have so many words per chapter to get all the information in and advance the story so I had to spread some of those questions out between the upcoming chapters. But don't worry, I promise everything gets explained to her. Don't forget I will most likely not post on Monday due to the holiday weekend here in the US.

WESLEY POV I fell asleep on Saturday night with Haven in my arms and woke up Sunday to an empty bed. As soon as I realized Haven was no longer in our bed, I jumped up and out of it, my eyes already scanning the vacant room. My lycan growled and my heart leapt into my throat and I gripped my hair in my hands as I tried to catch my breath. Had it all been a dream? Her coming back and accepting me, us making love in front of the mirrors; her letting me provide a meal for her for the first time as my mate — had I just imagined it all?
