"What does he generally like to eat?" I asked the castle's chef. I didn't try to avoid it because it was my responsibility to decide what he would have for lunch, but I did let the chore go undone and it became behind schedule.

"In general, he prefers meat from spicier deer." The cook responded while he was wearing the apron that was reserved for the kitchen. Her gorgeous pair of brown eyes were hidden by a pair of puffy bags under her eyes, giving the impression that she was quite exhausted. She was not even thirty, and she might have been twenty-five or even younger at the time.

"Do you have beef in the fridge?" After catching a sight of the enormous fireplace that was behind her, I answered the question with a more gentle tone in both my heart and my voice.

There was a nod from her. "Yes. Kindly take note that there should not be fewer than three different dishes available for each meal." These barbaric individuals were well-versed in the art of inflicting cruelties on the defensel
