Skye's POV

"Why are you here? What do you want?" A not so happy Kristen welcomed Keira and I in a very uncomfortable way.

We asked Alec's mom about her whereabouts since they told us that she was no longer staying in the pack house because of her own personal reasons.

Weirdly enough, it happened right after the little kid in the pack died. Such a sweet kid, may his soul rest in eternal peace from her henceforth.

"We want to ask if you want to hang out with us. We're aware that you're not really familiar here because you're not originally from this town. But we'd happy to show you around." I said, with the smile that didn't quite reach my ears.

I remained smiling like a fool in front of her, but she just snorted at me and closed the door on my face.

I was taken aback by her rudeness so I knocked on the door vigorously wanting to talk things with her.

"Skye, stop that. It's clear that she doesn't want to be friends with us. Let's just go." Keira said. I stopped knocking on the door aft
