Chapter 56

I'm currently wandering on the streets hoping to buy a gift for Alec. Keira lent me some money, and I'm hoping I can see something as a peace offering to my grumpy mate.

I went inside a clothing store and I asked for the sales lady for some tips or recommendations. And when she heard that I was having a quarrel with my lover her smile widened into a cheeky one, and she guided me around on what seems a section of oddly looking clothes that were pretty revealing for my liking.

"Are these supposed to look like this?" I asked the lady sheepishly, not too fond of the idea of wearing such bold looking clothes.

"The fastest way to fix a lover's quarrel is to seduce your man into saying sorry to you. And what better way to seduce men than wearing a lingerie." She said grinning, moving her brows from one side to another, and my mouth formed an o shape, contemplating if I should do this.

Is this how humans solve a problem? By showing some skin?
