Chapter 87

Two days have passed since I was made aware of my mother's condition. Her lung was failing. She told me that she was already okay, that she wasn't feeling anything wrong with her body, but it turns out, these past few weeks she's been feeling ill and was always here for check-ups, until just recently, the doctor was able to determine the cause of her condition.

She is suffering from lung cancer, fortunately the cancer was spotted early and they can still provide her treatment, but our problem is we don't have any money to support her medication. We're already drowning in debts, where the hell can we find the money for her medicine?

She's still recuperating, and the drugs the doctor's gave her had sleeping side effects, so most of the time she's asleep.

"Elli, I'm hungry," Blake scooted on my side.

"What do you want buddy?" I asked him.

"Burger?" He answered in a sort of a question manner.

"Okay, wait here, take care of mom while I'm gone okay?" I said and he nodded his head vigorous
