Twenty-Six : The Fight
"Cailly!" My mom called out for me but a wolf lunge at her.
"Mom!" Running towards her.
"No, baby don't come near me!" She yelled but I didn't stop, lunging towards the wolf that about to bit her neck, grabbing his shoulder and twisted it in different angle, whimpering in pain, I was about to jump on him when my mother pull me away.
"Cailly, sweetheart, you are not supposedly here, wake up honey. This isn't real, this is just an il--" She didn't finish her word when an arrow struck to her stomach. I left shock but still heard her last word.
"I love you baby girl, wake up." Her words before her breathing stop, tears freely flowing in my eyes but just as I lay my mother down a group of wolf running in my direction.
I let out a loud roar and about to shift but didn't happen, I look at myself, confusion. "Why I can't shift? Aleck?" I called out for my wolf. No response.
