Chapter 152: Alone in the water

"Get ready Beta Baela, we leave this morning to the ends of the world". I heard Alpha Abbadon say, as he turned and walked out of the tent, we both were in. I was glad that was over.

The hard part for Alpha Abbadon was likely just started. He had to decide whether to tell his Beta's what he knew about our journey to the ends of the world, that there were no gifts or to keep it a secret from them. It was a tough call to make and I didn't know which path he was going to take.

I walked slowly to the curtain covering the entrance of the tent as I peeped outside at what he was about to do. He didn't seem to be gathering the Beta's for a briefing rather he just let everyone do what they had to do to get ready.

Last night had been a celebration, I guess it would be bad to dampen the morale of the camp after the happy celebration of last night.
