Chapter 56: Watched

I couldn't wait for dawn to come as I sat up wrapped into a ball. It was still nighttime but I didn't feel like sleeping yet after the way and manner Beta Oliver had treated me. Beta Mark didn't help either, he did intercede or try to stop j from hurting me. He just watched him and did nothing.

I was going to have both of them changed. I was going to report them to Alpha Abbadon as soon as he came back to the camp. I realized I made a big mistake not changing them.

I listened to their conversation outside of the tent. Beta Oliver was on the verge of explaining to Beta Mark what the mystery was all about but I couldn't not hear anything. Not even whispers.

It appears they had moved some distance away from the tent, preventing me from eavesdropping. Beta Oliver was surely going to be telling his lies I knew but it was comforting to think they were gone at least and with that in mind, I relaxed as I laid on the mat.
