~ Alister's POV~

For the first time in a long while, Alister walked into his office and it was empty. Like devoid of a certain werewolf and Beta who had claimed the space as his own over the years even though he had his own office.

If Elijah wasn't there in the office, then he should be in his own office.

Alister let out a tired sigh, turned around, and made his way towards Elijah's office. He could hear the rhythmic beating of Elijah's heart, indicating that he was inside.

Alister didn't bother to knock on the door; he simply pushed it open, only to come to a sudden halt when he realized that Elijah wasn't alone.

What the hell was it with him and interrupting people in their offices these days. He mused himself with a mixture of amusement and frustration.

Both individuals in the room turned their heads to look at him, and Elijah, who happened to be one of them, let out a groan. The other person, a woman whose name he couldn't recall but whose face he recognized, blushed in response

Way to keep him guessing until the end … he should have started with the uncle name instead of having Alister be guessing
