Luciana's morning started off on a rough note, and honestly, the whole day was turning into quite a mess.

She held onto a silent hope, praying that the remaining hours of the evening would be drama-free, just a moment of peace to catch her breath.

All she craved was a chance to rest and unwind from the constant external pressures that seemed to be piling up. The nagging absence of the letter from Alpha Reed weighed heavily on her mind, adding to her unease.

With a gentle touch, she arranged the fresh fruits into a bowl, her hands moving thoughtfully as she carefully carried it out of the kitchen and into the welcoming embrace of the backyard.

Even though her heart wasn't entirely in it, she summoned a smile, a façade to fit in with the cheerful atmosphere that surrounded her.

The gathering in the backyard exuded happiness, and the soft, hushed conversations that floated in the air were like a refreshing breeze, momentarily easing her worries.
