Silence descended among them—no one said a word since they were stunned to the marrow. Caddel is finding it hard that Dorian will leave the pack without informing any of them.

He knows how Dorian behaves, but he had hoped he wouldn't have to act so rashly; Caddel found this act a bit childish and highly irresponsible.

What if something happens to Dorian on his way to the pack? Who will be there to save his ass if something terrible happened? No one yet he didn't consider that, did he? Why does Dorian always have to act so foolishly? “Damn, you!” Caddel gritted, with his head lowered.

While he was busy feeling betrayed, Kaden was f****** angry—in his perspective, how little trust does Dorian have in them?

If he had trusted them with his life, then he would have told them about his present condition and his next course of action. But no!
