The dairy

It was raining heavily in the city, and its drizzle was cascading down in torrents, hitting the car window as Lorenzo drove Tinsely home.

The atmosphere inside the car was solemn with unspoken emotions, the silence prolonging between them like an imperceptible wall.

Tinsley was busily staring out at the passing cars on the highway, her mind lost in a perturbation of thoughts and fears.

A few sometimes she would share a glance with Lorenzo, and end up looking away until they both arrived at the building of the apartment.

“You have to come in,” Tinsely says, giving no space for a response as she stepped out.

Lorenzo sighed deeply, stepping out too and they hurriedly walked together, seeking shelter from the relentless rain as they head to the door.

A few droplets of rain clung to their clothes, and it dampened them slightly, as they recklessly made their way inside.
