I don't know how long I stared at the Semper Augustus; honestly, I was staring at it without seeing it because my mind was elsewhere.

Since I awoke this morning, all I've been thinking about is the handsome man who saved me from certain doom, the stranger who shared the same eye color as my husband.

I was absolutely certain that Zion and Kian had the same eye color, and considering how unnerving I was feeling whenever Zion kept looking at me, it was already etched in my mind that while Zion's gaze was cold, Kian's gaze was somewhat warm and friendly.

I had never seen someone as stunning as Kian; he was more attractive than those so-called celebrities that young and old women admired and idolized.

I couldn’t help but remember the time when I finally saw his face—his whole face bathed in the light from the moon, giving him an ethereal vibe.
