I gulped down into nothing as I stared at Damon, who stood before me with his arms crossed under his broad chest. I swallowed hard, and blinked countlessly as he winked at me in the most seductive voice ever. What are you doing, Aurelia? I asked myself as I mentally slapped myself. I wonder why my heart has to beat differently whenever he's around me. I've to do something about it before it lands me into trouble.

I snapped out of my reverie as I remembered that it was his pack member that had me poisoned, and I'd almost died.

I glared at him with a cold look, pushing away the fear from my mind even though I know that I don't stand a chance against him.

"Good day, Alpha. I'll excuse you,"I turned my gaze to Amelia, who walked away quietly in fear.

"What do you want?"I asked as I snapped my head at him.

"You keep asking this question, and I'll continue to tell you that I want you,"he muttered, and I scoffed.

"How are you?"he asked as he walked closer to me, and I scoffed.
